An interactive poster is a focus for week 8, while week 7 was a lecture about
playful interactions and designs, where we learned about the definition of
playful UI, gamification vs. playful design, differences between UX & UI, types
of screen-based UI and embodied interaction.
I went shopping with Estelle for the crocodile clips in Jaycar and speakers in
Kmart. Did not want to buy a touch board cause I am living on a budget. So, I
have prepared twelve conductive ink paintings of different anim
Week 6 was all about LCS Screens & Tilt Switches instead of Touch board &
Sensors because the materials, Bare Conductive Touch boards, ordered by Simone
has not yet arrived, so hopefully we would do the remaining tasks on Week 9.
It was the most gruesome project when dealing with the wirings, but I jumped in
joy and gladness when it worked and when I overcame that challenge especially
when my board surprisingly looked neat and functional as much as possible!

Arduino Project: Motorised Pinwheel
The challenges in building the Motorised Pinwheel then having it work was
fulfilling and satisfying! It reminds me back in my Grade 11 and 12 (final year)
where we had to create sustainable energy using DC motors and mini solar panels.
I would collect the DC motors from my brother’s old toys like cars and robots to
complete the projects back then, we would have to use the DC motors as a wheel
to produce energy. Another thing I forgot to mention since week 3 (c
A shot of me pressing a button to light up a blue LED (basic circuit)It is my
first time using Arduino in March 17 during DESN3600 Lab, I had the best time
tinkering around with it! I was jolly to open a brand new Arduino Uno from the
University, so I get a hands-on on how to construct an Arduino board with its
breadboard - plus cute, Arduino stickers that came with it!
I've always wanted to use Arduino, and my dad, who is an nerdy, electrical
engineer (I wonder where I get my genes from), boug
A wordplay of constellation and electricity - connecting all the components!
Week 3: Emotion graphI had several problems before the next lab because of RS
Components, who I bought for conductive ink but got additional hidden fees on my
bank account, fell for their dark pattern of 'free shipping', and unclear
discount promo code. Hence, explains the curving lines of emotions in March 6-7
but it has been going on since March 4.
Thankfully, they sent me an email message in March 13 saying they w
